St. Louis Blues center Dylan Holloway gave a positive update on his injury. Holloway suffered an injury on Tuesday in the game against the Tampa Bay Lightning. The whole Enterprise Center fell silent. The game remained paused with 1:11 remaining in the first period after Holloway faced a hit with a stray puck.
Accidentally, a deflected puck from Bolts’ forward Nick Paul hit Dylan Holloway in the first period. In the end, the scoreline had a 3-2 win for the Blues. The incident scared everyone present in the arena as it could have taken the worst result possible.
Many on-ice accidents and especially stray puck shots in vulnerable places, resulted in player’s death. The St. Louis Blues bench went silent when Holloway noted he was not feeling well. Shortly afterward, he fell unconscious and got up when they were near the ambulance.
Thankfully, the 23-year-old seems to be doing just fine. In less than 24 hours, the center joined the team’s practice on Wednesday. According to the doctor, the puck hit the Vagus nerve on the right side of his neck, causing him to feel “woozy”.
"It got really blurry. I don't really remember coming to the bench. Next thing I know I was next to the ambulance on a stretcher."
