Leave it to the Swifties to discover the hidden Easter eggs left by Taylor Swift. And there were quite a few when the mega pop star appeared on Travis and Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast last Wednesday.

Swift’s presence was enough to break several streaming records, but she also subtly added hints that eagle-eyed fans believe may hold great significance. Some are convinced that Swift is preparing herself to headline Super Bowl 60.

After doing some digging and going over several theories, honestly, they might be onto something.

For instance, Swift spoke at length about her sourdough recipe.

I’m really talking about bread 60 percent of the time.

There’s nothing wrong with fantasizing about baking. Kelce raves about her Pop-Tarts from time to time. But why sourdough? Why not some other starter?

Well, the conspiracy theorists among the Swifties believe her nod to sourdough was intentional. Sourdough is inexorably linked to the city of San Francisco. It’s essentially a massive part of the locals’ diet. Moreover, the mascot of the San Francisco 49ers is called Sourdough Sam.

The location of Super Bowl 60 is the 49ers’ home, Levi’s Stadium. Coincidence?

What’s so special about number 12?

Swift’s 12th studio album is ‘The Life of a Showgirl,’ but does it end there? Or is there some deeper meaning behind the number? Swifties certainly believe so.

It’s not a secret that Swift is a fan of numerology. She appeared on the Kelce brothers’ podcast 12 weeks after reclaiming rights to her ‘Masters’ collection—updates about ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ were posted on August 12 at 12:12 AM, etc.

Furthermore, Swift’s beau, Travis Kelce, completed 12 years in the NFL. According to sources, the Grammy winner declined to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show on multiple occasions because she first wanted the rights to her albums back before accepting the gig.

Now that she has the rights, it only makes sense that she could sign up to perform at Super Bowl 60 in Santa Clara, California.

The mystery of the Lombardi Trophy

Those who watched the Swift episode on the podcast probably noticed the background behind Kelce and Swift. It was filled with various memorabilia, books, a Kelce bobblehead, and a few other items that contained Easter eggs related to Swift’s album.

There was also a pint-sized replica of the Lombardi Trophy. If anyone took a closer look, the trophy was lying on its side on top of a rack of books when it could have been easily kept on the top shelf. What’s more intriguing is that the trophy was sandwiched between Kelce and Swift. That can’t be a coincidence. It was definitely placed there on purpose to signal that she’s Super Bowl-bound.

Jason Kelce’s 47-second intro

Popular sports analyst Stephen A. Smith watched Swift’s episode, and the first thing that caught his attention was Jason Kelce’s 47-second screaming session, introducing the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer.

I gotta to tell you, I gotta tell you, Jason Kelce did his thing with that intro, that’s major props to him, no doubt about it.

Smith said via the Irish Star

The number 47 is oddly specific and highly significant. The retired Eagle could have stopped at 45 or perhaps extended the intro three seconds more to touch 50. Why 47?

Swifties believe that it’s linked to Travis. The 3x champ is heading into his 13th season in the league, so adding 47 and 13 totals to 60—Super Bowl 60.

Of course, there’s no concrete proof about whether these theories are correct or if everyone is just tagging along in a wild goose chase. Both the NFL and Swift are tight-lipped on the matter.

There’s still time before the greatest sporting spectacle. Fingers crossed.
