The WNBA All-Star Weekend is up and running in full flow at the moment. From the interesting 3-point skills challenge to the ever-much-anticipated Team Clark versus Team Collier game, the WNBA has had an interesting week of action for its fans. However, it was broadcaster Elle Duncan who made headlines during the halftime show of the WNBA All-Star game.
During the WNBA All-Star game, Team Clark (led by Caitlin Clark) saw themselves trailing Team Collier (led by Napheesa Collier) by 82-60 after two quarters. Notably, fans could visibly spot the poor defense put on display by Team Clark, leading to Duncan making an out-of-pocket reference to the game, leaving many stunned in the process.
We hope it gets a little bit more competitive. Because like a girls trip to Cancun, right now, there’s no D.

Team Collier: 151 (ASG record)
Team Clark: 131
Napheesa Collier: 36 PTS (ASG record)
Skylar Diggins: 11 PTS, 15 AST, 11 REB (1st ASG triple-double)

Duncan surely came up with some inventive words for the high scoring as she looked forward to the second half with Andraya Carter and Chiney Ogwumike. So inventive that it caught the WNBA fanbase as well as Carter and Ogwumike off-guard, not knowing how to react to the news on-air. So much so that as Duncan went to chime in back, Ogwumike said, “Elle, you’re in timeout. You’re done.”
All in all, it was a brilliant matchup between the two sides, who were not that hell bent on defending this time around. For four quarters, Team Collier and Team Clark put on an offensive show because they didn’t play much defense. With Team Collier dominating for the duration of the match and defeating Team Clark 151-131, the game was not very close.

On her side, Captain Napheesa Collier was outstanding. She finished with nine rebounds, 36 points, and a 13-for-16 shooting percentage. Collier’s 36 points set a new scoring record for the All-Star Game. She was the obvious choice for All-Star Game MVP because of her triumph and dominance.
Paige Bueckers makes honest admission after making her first WNBA All-Star game
Paige Bueckers’ rise to the WNBA in such a short time has been noteworthy. She was drafted by the Dallas Wings during the 2025 WNBA Draft. Ever since then, she has not looked back, putting up great numbers in her rookie season. So much so that she earned her first-ever WNBA All-Star call-up in her rookie season for her performances.
That said, Bueckers shared her views on her inclusion in the event ahead of the game with the media during practice.
Just excitement. gratitude to be in positions and being surrounded with the best players in the world and just to be in this environment…Just trying to get a win, whatever happens.

Skylar-Diggins makes historic comeback after disappointing skills challenge
In just 2 days, Skylar-Diggins went from having one of her worst days to one of her best days in the WNBA. For context, during Friday’s 3-point skill challenge, the WNBA All-Star came last, leaving her ‘super p***ed’ as she revealed to the reporters. However, this was not the case during Saturday’s WNBA All-Star Matchup.
