Ricky Pearsall never thought in his wildest dreams that he would start his rookie season in the NFL in such a manner. Getting shot at while a 17-year-old was attempting to get his Rolex is not the kind of headlines the San Francisco 49ers star would have wanted to be a part of. It seems there will be no respite with the likes of Elon Musk chiming in to keep the news fresh.
The owner of X generally has a lot of views of his own, especially with the Presidential elections around the corner. Keeping that in mind Musk wrote this down on his official account;
So many lives have been lost, because Democrat policies pander to the criminal clients. Criminals vote overwhelmingly Democrat, so they don’t want to lose their votes.Elon Musk tweeted
With his mind set on helping the Republicans and especially Donald Trump win, he took this opportunity to take a shot at the Democrats. Needless to say, his thoughts did provoke a debate.
Ricky Pearsall was wounded when a 17-year-old boy fired two shots from his firearm. One of them injured the wideout, while the other injured his aggressor. Pearsall walked to the ambulance, which then took him to the hospital. Officers arrested the teenager.
Elon Musk made it seem that the incident would not have happened had the Republican’s been in power. It could be a ploy to capture the attention of the NFL world. After all, Donald Trump too was shot at a recent campaign.
49ers need Ricky Pearsall to make his NFL debut soon
This robbery attempt sure made national headlines. But for Ricky Pearsall, it set him back for the time being. His injuries will have to heal and then only can he take to the field for practice. Once the pain subsides, the medical team will clear him to play.
How long that takes is up to the former Florida Gator. Healing from such injuries requires a lot of care. He cannot move around unlike other football related injuries. That total dedication will get him back on the gridiron. Maybe his partially dislocated shoulder will also heal by that time period. A realistic timeframe could set him up to debut against the Arizona Cardinals on October 6th.
The San Francisco 49ers want to overcome the Super Bowl hurdle that they have been trying to cross a couple times. A galvanized Pearsall could help them get that extra edge.
