Interestingly, O’Neal caught the NBA community’s attention with his recent purchase of the Tesla Cyber truck. Notably, O’Neal has always had a fascination with tuning his automobiles. What was initially needed to help him fit into upscale cars has now evolved into an extensive remodeling project.

In addition, O’Neal went on to make slight tweaks to the Cyber truck too. Shaq has always had a fascination for cars and his recent purchase is a clear example of it. His tweaks to the Cybertruck amazed a lot of fans. Moreover, the CEO of Tesla Motors, Elon Musk also put forward his ‘One-word’ reaction to O’Neal customizing the Cyber truck.

Elon Musk replied with “Nice” to a post on X, after watching O’Neal’s customized Cyber truck. This specific customization job was done by Effortless Motors. The widebody package and the material used in the building process of the car are the two primary aspects in which Effortless Motors takes great pride.

In addition, O’Neal also took to his Instagram to thank Effortless Motors. He was mind-blown by the job done by the company. It’s important to note that, O’Neal once stated that he was not a big fan of the ‘Teslas.” However, he had a change of heart when he came across Effortless Motors and their work.

Shaquille O’Neal opened up on how NBA legend LeBron James was the reason behind his purchase of the truck. O’Neal stated that James’ Instagram story of him not agreeing on a deal with Effortless Motors caught his attention regarding the Cyber truck.

The company issued a falsified statement saying that James would be receiving a car from them. The King then clarified on social media that he didn’t even know who they were. Nevertheless, O’Neal quickly pounced on the opportunity, made a few calls, and got this deal. Despite his hatred for Teslas, O’Neal also stated on his podcast that he saw a ‘deal of a lifetime’ and had to go for it.

One of the reasons O’Neal purchased this truck was because he could fit in it. He believed that if James could fit in then why couldn’t he? It now remains to be seen which other car O’Neal adds to his collection.
