Salma Hayek perfectly blended into the tradition of torch-bearing for the Paris Olympics 2024. The ‘House of Gucci’ star carried the Olympic torch from Rambouillet to Versailles. On the way to the location, she blasted Eminem‘s classic “Lose Yourself” which got her pumped up.
Hayek shared a video of herself jamming to the song and getting excited for the momentous occasion. In another video, she playfully performed a cartwheel in the halls of Versailles. The actress kept up the sporty spirit in her outfit as she wore a white tracksuit with orange detailing. In her perfectly documented series of pictures, she was also seen wearing the torch-bearer gear.

The front of her long-sleeved top read “Relais de la flamme olympique” which translates from French as “Olympic torch relay”. It also featured the Paris 2024 logo along with the Olympic rings.
The Olympic Torch Relay is a deep-rooted tradition, dating back to 1936, that connects the ancient to the modern bridging the gap. The flame is lit in Olympia, Greece and then brought to the host country. The historic relay not only represents the Games’ continuity but also brings people together.
