Challengers is now a talking point of movie enthusiasts and those who closely follow tennis. Some even wonder whether the glamorous life of the three characters is even shared by the actual tennis players. Emma Raducanu, however, expressed her amusement at the idea, as her life is a far cry from the movie’s characters.
Being considered a tennis prodigy, Raducanu’s life revolved around just tennis, she explained to The Sunday Times. Her parents did not want her to lose her focus, and that’s why they didn’t want her to have boyfriend.

My parents didn't want me to have a boyfriend because it interfered with my training. When I was younger, I wasn't even allowed to go out with my friends. I was often very resentful. But it gave me self-confidence and allowed me to feel comfortable in my own company, which is also a great strength.Emma Raducanu said
Raducanu is a grown-up woman now and her parents have realized that she would reject things if they keep on forcing their opinions, she said in the interview.
Emma Raducanu has not yet watched Challengers
The packed tennis schedule makes it harder for the players to indulge in other activities and that’s why Emma Raducanu has not yet watched Challengers. However, she liked the videos of Zendaya’s workouts and the training she did to learn the basic moves for the movie.

Honestly, I've been too busy to watch the movie, but I've seen some videos of Zendaya taking lessons and working out. She was learning how to hit a ball by following dance steps, which I thought was pretty cool.Emma Raducanu said
The 2021 US Open champion’s road to her first Grand Slam title was no different from a movie script. As a qualifier in the tournament, she made her way to the finals and took home the coveted cup, but since then, things have not worked well for her. The 21-year-old has to deal with criticism from fans and pundits for her game as well as for her incessant involvement in sponsorship deals.
Talking about her latest activity, Raducanu withdrew from the Roland Garros. She was initially denied the wild card, so she had to play the qualifiers to advance to the main draw. The Brit issued a statement, declaring that she plans to play at her home Grand Slam, the Wimbledon Championship, which starts on July 1.
