Parents are the key to their children’s success. By hook or crook, they somehow shape their children to be the person that they are now. The same goes for Emma Raducanu, who was brought up by hard parenting to shape her to be a fighting woman.
In a recent interview with the Times, Raducanu shared a small part of her story, which helped her develop some of her most important characteristics now. She revealed to the world that her parents pushed the sport into her. Initially, she did not like tennis but soon grew accustomed to it and started liking it.

In addition, she revealed that her parents were against boyfriends as it came in between training, and she was also not allowed to hang out with her girlfriends. Even though she was resentful then, Raducanu thanked her parents for their methods of upbringing.
They are so pushy. When I was younger more so. Now they are at a place where they tell me what they think is best, but they realise ultimately that the more they push the more I am going to resist.said Emma Raducanu to Times

Emma Raducanu waits for the verdict on her French Open wildcard entry
Emma Raducanu has returned on tour after a rather tough injury recovery process. Despite that, she came back brilliantly to try to win how many ever games she played. So far, there has not been much luck in terms of a tournament win, but Raducanu has improved through the months and is slowly finding momentum.

Unfortunately, she still has to rely on a protected ranking for the French Open, which puts her in a tricky situation. Placed fourth on the list, Raducanu did not receive a wildcard entry to the tournament. However, she can if some players decide to withdraw from the tournament.
The verdict is still yet to be out as a few players are lined up to miss the Slam. One of them is Jessica Pegula, who is still recovering from the wrist injury. There are still a couple of days for the final verdict and until then, Raducanu will have to wait.
