As if the feud between Tom Brady and Logan Paul was not enough for the football world to handle, Brady’s former teammate Leonard Fournette decided to wage one of his own. Fournette questioned Emmanuel Acho’s credibility as a football expert, pointing out that Acho had a largely forgettable career.

Acho hit back at the former running back instantly. In a recent segment of his YouTube show and podcast Speakeasy, Acho said that although Fournette won a Super Bowl, his overall performance in the NFL was largely disappointing.

Let’s not talk about NFL careers [Leonard Fournette] because if we’re being honest [top 5 pick for the Jaguars], we both had disappointing ones, there’s a reason you’re holding a mic now. So let’s talk about your take…

Social media doesn’t seem to agree with Emmanuel Acho’s take on Leonard Fournette

Acho spoke with civility, yet his tone carried a sharp edge, as if it came from someone deeply wounded. Sure, Acho admitted his career hadn’t gone as he envisioned, but Fournette didn’t find the same success as his peers, Derrick Henry or Christian McCaffrey.

To prove his point, Acho took a cheeky dig at Fournette’s current day job.

[Leonard] Fournette won a Super Bowl, I’m happy for him. But why you got a podcast in your hand? Why don’t you have a football in your hand? Because eight running backs drafted after Leonard Fournette were still in the league last year… So let’s not talk about careers. Because if we’re being honest, based on where we were drafted, we both underwhelmed in the NFL.

McCaffrey, drafted around the same time as the 31-year-old former rusher, is still one of the top backs in the league. While players such as Samaje Perine and Aaron Jones still play regular football. Austin Ekeler, RB, drafted right after Fournette, is part of the Washington Commanders setup.

Despite Acho’s attempt to even the playing field, social media opted to side with Fournette on this one.

Fournette, on his podcast, which he co-hosts with former 5x Pro Bowl wide receiver Jarvis Landry, called out Acho for disrespecting Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders by siding with recently fired head coach Kevin Stefanski. Fournette compared Acho’s behavior with the infamous Boondocks character Uncle Ruckus.

Meanwhile, Tom Brady, a former teammate of Fournette at Tampa Bay, took some heat from Logan Paul after Paul’s squad, the Wildcats FFC, beat Brady’s team, the Founders FFC, at the Flag Football Classic.
