- Emmanuel Acho emphasizes the difficulty of making it to the NFL, stating it's disrespectful to suggest IShowSpeed could compete at that level.
- IShowSpeed showcased impressive athleticism during the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, sparking debate about his potential in the NFL.
- Despite his agility and speed, Acho notes that IShowSpeed's ability to handle the physicality of the NFL remains unproven.
At the Fanatics Flag Football Classic tournament, Tom Brady and his NFL stars managed to give Logan Paul and IShowSpeed a reality check on how athletic football players are.
For more than a month, the seven-time Super Bowl champion and the part-time WWE star were waging a war of words over how one sport was better than the other.
That back-and-forth continued even during the tournament’s draft in Los Angeles, with Brady taking swipes at Paul and the WWE’s lack of true competition.
The YouTuber did have a moment of embarrassment at the hands of Saquon Barkley, after seemingly mocking his unreal reverse hurdle weeks ago.
But then, he made amends when Logan Paul intercepted Joe Burrow before the ball got to star wide receiver Devante Adams. In the midst of this, IShowSpeed did not appear to have garnered much interest until a video appeared on social media.
Unlike Logan Paul, many were wondering if the 21-year-old could indeed play in the NFL. He has proved in the past that he has the speed and agility, and this topic reached Speakeasy, where Emmanuel Acho had this to say:
I’m not going to disrespect what it takes to make it to the NFL, to say that IShowSpeed could make it in the NFL. Because if you want to make it to the NFL, you have to be good enough to play in college… You are more likely to get struck by lightning than you are to play in the NFL.
Emmanuel Acho said

The former sixth-round pick did not discredit IShowSpeed’s athleticism, but reiterated that it would be disrespectful to NFL players, just to go along with the hype based on a video.
IShowSpeed shows off athleticism at Flag Football Classic
The reason why Emmanuel Acho was subtly suggesting that IShowSpeed was not ready to become an NFL player is that after a video dropped showing his athleticism, fans have been wondering if the streamer was capable.

The video shows the Ohio native receiving the ball from Joe Burrow, another flag football participant who happens to be working in his state. After he gathers the ball, Speed sprints forward and then comes face-to-face with two defenders.
In an instant, he digs both his feet towards his left and spins around, which was enough to elude both of his opponents. Then, as another comes over to help, the streamer strafes to his left and takes off.

With the ball now in his left hand, IShowSpeed tries to tiptoe along the sideline, but once he understands that another defender is closing down on him, he steps out of bounds. This elite show of athleticism is what sparked this debate.
IShowSpeed keeps up with top NFL stars at Flag Football Classic
While this video showcases his agility, it started the conversation about IShowSpeed‘s capabilities. Another video shows the streamer’s impressive speed.
The video shows Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts heaving a deep ball to teammate DeVonta Smith. The latter did catch the ball, as he knows his QB’s timing better than any other player at the Fanatics Flag Football Classic.
However, the video also shows how Speed stayed with Smith all throughout the route, even though he had no experience knowing how to keep up with a wide receiver at full game speed.
The streamer has kept up with Olympic gold medalist sprinter Noah Lyles in an exhibition run, which Emmanuel Acho felt was not good enough in the NFL.

But this video proves that the diminutive social media personality has the physical traits to do well in a football game. The only factor that comes into play is whether he can do it wearing pads, absorbing the hits that are customary in an NFL game.
