- Emmanuel Acho criticized Tiger Woods for his repeated irresponsible behavior following a DUI arrest at age 50.
- Woods was involved in a car crash in Florida, but a breathalyzer test showed he was not under the influence at the time.
- His partner, Vanessa Trump, has issued an ultimatum for him to get his life in order after the incident.
Tiger Woods‘ irresponsible actions really got on Emmanuel Acho‘s nerves. Acho found it perplexing that a figure of such respect and arguably the most famous golfer could repeatedly find himself in life-threatening situations.
Woods was in yet another car crash last week while driving through Florida. After the incident, the police arrested the 50-year-old on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Acho saw this as irresponsible behavior from Woods, given that he’s no longer a young man and many young, up-and-coming golf athletes view him as a role model. At this point in his life, he should be making better decisions instead of ending up in jail.
Thankfully, nobody got seriously injured, but Tiger, besides putting yourself at risk, you are putting your family at risk, you are putting everybody else at risk by driving under the influence… How many times are we going to see this happen?
Emmanuel Acho said in the recent episode of Speakeasy
"Tiger [Woods] at this big age, you CANNOT be going to jail for DUIs"

Acho wrapped up by sharing his disappointment with Woods, noting that even after surviving three previous crashes, one that almost cost him his life, he still hasn’t changed. On that note, Acho must settle his feud with former NFL running back Leonard Fournette, who previously raised question marks about his credibility as a football analyst and expert.
How did Tiger Woods crash his car?
Reports from the BBC and Sky Sports revealed that Woods rolled his Land Rover after it clipped a truck in Jupiter Island, ultimately coming to a standstill. He then had to crawl out of the passenger door.

Fortunately, he was unharmed. Police arrived at the crash site and made Woods undergo a breathalyzer test, which came back negative, meaning that he was not driving under any influence. Despite that, the police still arrested the five-time Masters winner and kept him at the Martin County Jail in Stuart, Florida.
According to police records, Woods’ jail time lasted for eight hours before he was released. Sheriff John Budensiek said that Woods attempted to overtake a pressure cleaner truck at high speed but lost control of his car in the process.
Retired tennis legend Martina Navratilova urged the DMV (the Department of Motor Vehicles) to suspend Woods’ license before he harms not just himself but others around him.
In 2021, Woods nearly lost his life after badly totaling his car on a Los Angeles highway. Fire crews had to use ‘jaws of life’ cutting equipment to remove him from the wreckage. Reportedly, he required multiple surgeries for leg and ankle injuries, which kept him out of golf action for 15 months.
Tiger Woods’ partner threatens to leave him if he does not get his act together
After the release from police custody, Woods finds himself in even deeper trouble. According to a Daily Mail report, his partner, Vanessa Trump, has given him an ultimatum to straighten things out. The DUI incident has triggered serious concerns for Vanessa, who has now drawn a clear line.
She’s not happy at all. She’s both disappointed and a little bit pissed, if I’m being honest… It’s a definite red flag, and she told him that he’s going to get this sorted out and that she’s going to require that. He has to get things under control, or she’s not going to stick around.
