The Miami Dolphins are off to a bad start, losing two games in a row against the Indianapolis Colts and the New England Patriots. The Dolphins haven’t lost a single season opener under Mike McDaniel before, and it is the first time they have gone 0-2 since 2020.
Although the Fins have a history of 0-2 starts and those seasons taking a turn for the good, this season looked different. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has been rather inconsistent with his throws, leading to frustration among his teammates. In Week 1, one of the former Super Bowl winning wideouts, Tyreek Hill had a meltdown as the Colts crushed the Fins monstrously.
However, things were much better for the wideout on Sunday. Hill was undoubtedly one of the best players on the team as he finished with six catches from his seven targets for 109 yards, including a 47-yard reception.
Despite the Fins being much better on their passing attack, the loss has directed more claims towards a potential trade for the wideout. Though the Dolphins have said that they aren’t looking to trade away Hill.
Emmanuel Acho, in a sit-down on Speakeasy, asked Tyreek Hill to demand a trade from an organization that is in need of a serious rebuild. Acho claimed that it is a win-win situation for both parties, mentioning monetary value for Hill and the team. Dolphins could get some cap space and a few picks.
Tyreek Hill should march upstairs to the general manager and coaches’ office and say ‘Trade me while you still can’. It’s a win-win for both parties…. ‘Get me out of here while you can still get something from me’. And Tyreek Hill, you made your money. Tyreek Hill, don’t waste your final years in an organization that needs to rebuild.

The move from Miami would not just be about removing himself from an organization that is not winning. It would also be a fresh start amid the rising domestic violence allegations against him in the divorce case between the player and his estranged wife Keeta Vaccaro.
The Kansas City Chiefs aren’t planning for a reunion with Tyreek Hill
From the beginning of the time when rumors about a potential trade involving Tyreek Hill started to sprout, the Kansas City Chiefs were one of the names floated around. The wideout has previously played in Missouri and was one of the trusted receiving options for Patrick Mahomes.

The Chiefs are in the same boat as the Dolphins. They lost their season opener to division rivals Los Angeles Chargers and SNF clash in Week 2 to the Philadelphia Eagles. They have a big hole in the receiver room with Xavier Worthy injured and Rashee Rice serving a suspension. Despite all of this, the Chiefs aren’t focused on Hill, according to The Athletic.
And if you’re wondering whether Brett Veach, the always-savvy GM in Kansas City, might be tempted to pick up the phone and arrange a reunion with his former star receiver, I’m told the focus for now is on getting Xavier Worthy healthy as the Chiefs await the return of Rashee Rice from a six-game suspension.

The Chiefs’ division rivals, Las Vegas Raiders, are blossoming as a potential team to trade for Hill. The Raiders currently have two explosive options in Ashton Jeanty and Brock Bowers. They would look to make their offense even more dangerous with a triple threat, especially as there’s an elevated chance for a qualification above Chiefs this year.
