Real Madrid and Brazil star Endrick had the entirety of Europe on its feet as he burst into the scene months ago. From scoring his first goals with Brazil and Real Madrid to becoming the face of the new generation at the Santiago Bernabeu, Endrick lived up to the hype. However, as the 2024/25 season picks up pace, it appears that the 18-year-old has fallen behind on what was ‘promised’ of him.
Recently, Brazil boss Dorival Junior made a strong remark regarding the player ahead of the International break in November. Endrick has only made nine appearances in total this season, with a majority of them being cameo appearances from the bench. His two goals this season and limited game time have come in the way of him being picked for the upcoming World Cup qualifier games with Brazil.

Even though Endrick has been left out, 17-year-old Estevao Willian has been called up to join the squad. The teenager is running the show in Brazil and has already committed his future to Chelsea.
Brazil boss breaks silence on Vinicius Jr. Ballon d’Or snub
Not many expected Vinicius Jr. to come out empty-handed from the 2024 Ballon d’Or ceremony. The Real Madrid star was snubbed of the award as Manchester City and Spain midfielder Rodri claimed the coveted prize. Even though many came forward to criticize the decision, it is difficult to see how a player who was elemental for both club and country as they won the Premier League and UEFA Euro 2024 can be ignored for the same.
Dorival Junior became the latest figure in a long list of players/pundits/managers that opposed Rodri’s win.
It’s an unfair situation because it’s an individual award. Brazilian people realized the injustice that was done to the player and the injustice that was done to the player.

Even though Vinicius played a huge role in Real’s dominant run to claim the UEFA Champions League last season, his performances for Brazil were subpar. He missed out on the majority of the Copa America as Brazil were eliminated early on. Rodri, on the other hand, was named Player of the Tournament as Spain beat England in the final.
