Palmeiras star Endrick‘s move to Real Madrid is slowly becoming a reality. The 17-year-old prospect had signed with the club months ago, and with his final game in a Palmeiras shirt over, fans are buzzing at the thought of the youngster donning the royal white for the Los Blancos. His final game for the club was a goalless draw, but was an emotional affair nonetheless.

Endrick’s move to Real Madrid has been far from a secret, with the deal signed and ready to materialize as soon as he turns 18 in July 2024. With just a few months to go, the time has come for the youngster to bid farewell to his childhood club.

The player was taken off by head coach Abel Ferreira in the 63rd minute, to which the crowd reacted with a standing ovation for the player. Shortly afterwards, the player was reduced to tears as he left the pitch for one final time as a Palmeiras player.

The crowd parted ways with him in their own language – a massive and magnificent tifo. A wide angle shot of the stadium revealed the enormity of the tifo – a simple ‘thankyou’ for the two-time Brasileiro Serie A winner.

The 17-year-old received the call-up to represent his nation for the upcoming tournament alongside the likes of Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo Goes and Eder Militao. In a recent interview, Endrick admitted that the Albiceleste are a superpower even if they are without their main man Lionel Messi.
