Brazilian star and Real Madrid sensation Endrick has been in the spotlight ever since he signed for the Champions League winners. From teammates and fans joking about his nickname ‘Bobby’ in reference to legendary English player Bobby Charlton to others criticizing his lack of goals, Endrick is one of the most popular young stars in the game.

Recently, Endrick made headlines as he announced his marriage with girlfriend and social media sensation Gabriely Miranda. The couple got hitched in Spain, with the post announcing the good news coming on Instagram as they showed off their wedding attire in a series of pictures. Their marriage comes just months after news of their ‘strange’ relationship contract went viral.

Fans recalled what happened to Achraf Hakimi when he split with his wife earlier this year and prayed the same didn’t happen to Endrick.

Endrick, Lamine Yamal and more- stars to look out for in the new Champions League campaign

As the UEFA Champions League returns with a new format and more teams, fans prepare for what is the biggest club competition in Europe. Real Madrid and Manchester City are obvious favorites for the title, although the new format may give a chance for other teams to make their presence felt.

FC Barcelona for starters, have struggled to perform in the knockouts, with their campaign coming up a heartbreaking end in the quarter final against Paris Saint-Germain last season.

Lamine Yamal has made a name for himself in Europe, with his unbelievable performances in the Euro cup for Spain setting the stage for the new season. He is already the leader in terms of goal contributions in La Liga (7), while Endrick has also begun to find his place in the squad. The apparent lack of game time will be resolved sooner or later, as Carlo Ancelotti claimed that the club has no plans to loan out the Brazilian.

Other names like Bukayo Saka, Cole Palmer, Erling Haaland and Phil Foden are all to look out for as the competition progresses. With neither Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo left in Europe, it is to be seen whether Kylian Mbappe will live up to his hype after finally signing for Real Madrid. The competition kicked off on September 17 with a set of six games on matchday 1.
