Brazilian youngster Endrick etched his name in the history book, becoming the youngest ever foreign player to score a goal for Real Madrid. The 18-year-old scored a brilliant goal in a dominating 3-0 win over La Liga rivals Real Valladolid.
Real Madrid secured their first win of the new La Liga season after drawing the first one against Mallorca. After a dismal first-half, the Los Blancos tasted success in the second-half, taking a three-goal lead, with Federico Valverde, Brahim Diaz and newcomer Endrick finding their names on the score-sheet. The Moroccan midfielder registered two goal contributions, having also provided Endrick with an assist, as he scored his debut Real Madrid goal in the dying minutes of the match.
The young forward had come on as a substitute in the 86th minute of the match for Kylian Mbappe, and scored a goal in just the ten minutes that he spent on the pitch. The Brazilian teenager received a brilliant pass from Brahim, which he sent past goalkeeper Karl Hein to the bottom right corner.

Endrick used his weaker right foot to score the goal, becoming the youngest foreign star to score a goal for Real Madrid, at just 18 years and 35 days. He broke the record previously set by Raphael Varane, who had scored at the age 18 years 152 days, in 2011.

Moreover, the ex-Palmeiras star also etched his name in the record books by becoming the third-youngest South American to score in the Spanish League. Only Lionel Messi, who scored at 17 years for Barcelona, and Fabio Pinto who scored at 18 years for Real Oviedo are ahead of him.
Real Madrid stars praise Endrick for his debut goal, interestingly referring to the forward as ‘Bobby’
Los Blancos stars took to social media to congratulate young forward Endrick, after the 18-year-old scored his debut goal for the club, against Real Valladolid. The players, however, surprisingly commented on a social media post that Endrick had shared, as ‘Bobby’.
The comments, later revealed, were in reference to the Brazilian starlet’s nickname, which happens to be ‘Bobby’. It might also be in reference to Endrick’s recent revelation on who his favorite football player was. He had named English legend and 1966 World Cup winner Sir Bobby Charlton.
Moreover, the new Real Madrid sensation was spotted doing multiple rounds of extra training to prepare himself, ahead of the match against Valladolid where he scored.
