Enzo Maresca‘s men are up against Chelsea on Sunday at Stamford Bridge. As the two sides prepare to face off in a high-octane clash, one of the biggest questions yet to be answered is the availability of main man Cole Palmer. The Englishman’s fitness still remains a question mark ahead of the Premier League match-up with less than two days to go.
Speaking ahead of the clash, Enzo Maresca showed optimism when speaking of the Englishman. Cole Palmer took a significant hit against Manchester United owing to a poor challenge from Lisandro Martinez. While the Argentine was lucky not to be shown red, Palmer has since missed training in the following week.
With a late fitness test ahead of Sunday set to determine his availability, Maresca is hopeful.

Enzo Maresca ‘inviting pressure’ as crucial fixture edges closer
Chelsea are on the back of a spectacular 8-0 win over Conference League opposition FC Noah. With several players picking up their first goals of their Chelsea career, spirits are high in Enzo Maresca’s squad. Even though Arsenal are certainly much better in terms of preventing their opposition from finding the net, the clash between the two sides on Sunday night will be anything but predictable.
The Gunners are in desperate need of a win after consecutive defeats at the hands of Newcastle United and Inter Milan. Even though both games had a touch of controversy and confusion, Mikel Arteta is keen on bringing the game to their opposition tomorrow. With pressure mounting on either side, Maresca has made a bold claim.
?️Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca says #Arsenal are the closest team to Man City: “I don’t know. I also like to get pressure from these kinds of game. The pressure is also for us. For sure, #Arsenal are the closest team to City. Both, I consider them better than the rest.
