After five Premier League games incharge and 11 goals scored, Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has finally found his feet in London. The Italian manager has brought a new sense of life to the club, as fans claim the team now thrives on ‘chaos.’. The Blues pulled off an impressive 5-0 victory over Barrow AFC in the EFL Cup on Tuesday (September 24), much to the delight of fans.

The club is on a four-game unbeaten streak and will face Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League this weekend. After the impressive result against Barrow, Maresca confidently talked to the press, highlighting what motivated his side to show no mercy to the opponents.

Maresca also stated that he ‘loves’ his attackers and named Nicolas Jackson, Noni Madueke, and Cole Palmer as his favorites. He joked that there are several players to attack and none to defend.

Nkunku bags hat-trick as Chelsea demolish Barrow in EFL Cup

With ten goals scored in their last four games, Chelsea are on a roll. The Blues showed no mercy to Barrow on Tuesday night as Christopher Nkunku and Pedro Neto bagged the goals for the hosts. The home side opened the scoring in the eighth minute through Nkunku, who was set up by a brilliant pass courtesy of Joao Felix.

Nkunku doubled his side’s lead minutes later when he got on the end of a low cross from Malo Gusto. Felix increased the lead with a brilliant free-kick, although it went down as an own goal by Barrow goalkeeper Paul Farman. Pedro Neto then bagged his first goal for Chelsea from a comfortable tap-in in the 48th minute.

Nkunku then went on to bag his first hat-trick at Chelsea as he snatched the ball from the keeper before passing the ball into an empty net. Fans stated that the club has finally managed to pick up and form and will gradually be able to push for a top-four spot this season. Fans also backed Maresca to succeed at the club and bring in trophies sooner or later.
