Erik ten Hag‘s future at Old Trafford has been under scrutiny for quite some time. With a series of embarrassing results at both Old Trafford and away, the Dutchman went into the international break with a huge question mark over his future.
Although reports claim that INEOS have decided to put their trust on him for the time being, Erik ten Hag grilled the media for cooking up stories related to his future. Manchester United return to action on Saturday as they host Brentford. Prior to the game, Ten Hag made his emotions felt as he censured the media for the way they’ve treated him and his future at the club.
The noise is only coming from the media. Some of you have created stories, fairy tales, made noise and brought lies.

Ten Hag also stressed that he’s on the same page with United management, unlike what media portrays it to be. He argued that the players and management are convinced about the plan and that they’ll stick to it.

Ten Hag also expressed his confidence by claiming that success will soon follow at the club. United have endured one of the worst starts to a League season this campaign and only have 8 points from seven games.

United have been dealt a massive blow as midfield star Kobbie Mainoo has been sidelined with a muscle injury. The youngster suffered the injury against Aston Villa on October 6. The Red Devils have now confirmed that he will only be back in action after the international break in November, three weeks from now.
