Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has failed to score or assist in his last three games for Manchester City. The clash against Aston Villa saw the No.9 paint a solitary picture of himself up front.

With an accumulated xG of just 0.11, the Norwegian striker had a night to forget. Statistically speaking, the player only took one shot throughout the game, that too, missing the target by a huge margin.

Haaland’s inefficiency in front of goal was partially covered up by Phil Foden‘s strike in the 93rd minute. However, the club was forced to accept defeat as Unai Emery‘s men ran away with a 2-1 win.

Following the game, several fans took to social media to criticize Haaland and the rest of his teammates, with many pointing out the striker’s lack of goals. Haaland himself opened up about his situation after the game, as he vowed to do better.
