Manchester City front-man Erling Haaland‘s hat-trick match ball against West Ham United had an ‘X’ rated message on it, mesmerizing fans on social media. The City star had messages on the football written by his teammates, following his recent Man of the Match outing.
The 24-year-old forward scored yet another hat-trick against West Ham, marking his second treble of the season. Erling Haaland has struck seven goals this season, with goals coming against Chelsea and Ipswich Town in the opening two matches. Against West Ham, the Norwegian opened the scoring in the 10th minute from an assist by Bernardo Silva, and then the second through Rico Lewis. He single-handedly led the club to a win, completing his hat-trick with a late 80th minute strike.
Being the Man of the Match, Haaland’s match-ball was signed by his other Manchester City colleagues, after the game. Some of the players often resort to writing funny messages on the match-balls. Viral images showed the 24-year-old’s match-ball covered with an ‘X’ rated message, asking the forward to ‘f**k off’. Another player frustratingly mentioned that he was fed up of signing the forward’s match-balls, after having received all three of them this season. It is however, unclear who wrote the messages.

The forward, after having returned from a lengthy holiday, while his teammates were busy during the international break, has helped Haaland gain a lot of energy. He is once again hopeful of guiding Manchester City to their fifth consecutive EPL title.
Manchester City star Erling Haaland makes Premier League record with hat-trick against West Ham
Erling Haaland set a new record for the most goals in three Premier League matches, following a hat-trick against West Ham. He has now scored seven goals in just three matches, overtaking the records set by other Premier League stars.
The Norwegian forward scored his 70th goal in the Premier League in just his 69th game for the Cityzens, making him the fastest player to achieve this record. He had also broken the record for the most goals scored by a player in a single Premier League season in 2022-23, with 36 goals. Haaland is just four hat-tricks behind Sergio Aguero, who holds the record with 12 hat-tricks.
These are not the only records that the ex-Dortmund star has shattered. He most recently, became just the second player after Harry Kane to score a treble in two consecutive EPL matches.
