With all the shooting and hammering throughout Fortnite, players need protection. Enter the Guardian Shield. The Guardian Shield is the go-to weapon for players to block any incoming massive attack. Players have to deploy the Guardian Shield 5 times to complete the weekly challenge.

Fortnite’s Knights of the Realm Quests asks players to complete challenges using various items, and one of them is the Guardian Shield. To complete these quests, players need to know where they can find the Shield and other items.

How to locate the Guardian Shield

To obtain the Guardian Shield players need to open the Oathbound Chests. Players may need to open several chests to get one of these. To get a Shield, players need to head over to these areas on the map:

  • Citadel
  • Anvil Square
  • Faulty Splits

Once you reach one of these places you need to locate big gold-lined white boxes. Opening them will give you the chance to get a Guardian shield. This shield will help the players block projectiles and massive attacks like the Shock wave Hammer.

How to deploy the shield

To equip the Guardian Shield, players need to Hold the Primary Fire key to equip and then Press it quickly to deploy it in front of them. Now players need to remember that the Guardian Shield has a durability counter. It means the shield will break after taking certain amounts of damage. It has a 10-sec cool-down period, so players need to be careful when and where they deploy it.

Along with the Shield, players can also get the Excalibur Rifle and Falcon Scout. Guardian Shield can be most useful when players play in No Build Mode. Once you complete the challenge of Deploying the shield you will receive 16K XP.
