According to KSI’s boxing trainer, the YouTube sensation plans to return to the ring either this year or in January 2023. It’s been nearly two years after KSI last fought longtime rival Logan Paul in a boxing ring to resolve their famed internet dispute.

KSI has remained laser-focused on his musical career since winning their rematch in November 2019, much to the anger of Jake Paul, who has made no apologies about wanting to fight the UK YouTube superstar. Unfortunately, it appears that he has been too preoccupied with his present projects to consider the idea of a boxing battle, claiming that his current commitments have taken up all of his time.

The trainer of KSI claims that a boxing comeback is on the cards

However, according to his trainer, fans may see the British heavyweight return to the ring soon. In an interview with GiveMeSport, KSI’s boxing trainer, Leon Willis, claimed that the YouTuber plans to return late in 2022 or early in 2023. However, he doubts the influencer-turned-rapper would be able to give it his all if he isn’t fully committed to boxing, given his various duties in his music career and recent trade initiatives.

“JJ’s told me that he’s looking to fight either later this year, or early next year,” Willis said. “That’s what he said. But it’s just time. He’s a top boy in everything he does. In music, he’s a top artist. On YouTube, he’s a top YouTuber. Now, he’s got a drink company with Logan.”

Although no opponent for this probable comeback has been announced, many eyes are on Jake Paul, who recently blasted out at him by saying Logan was “carrying” their collaborative PRIME Hydration venture. For the time being, fans would have to wait and see what happens of this recent news, as is currently on tour in the United Kingdom.
