Michael’shroud’ Grzesiek informed followers that he no longer attempts to stay up with Twitch trends, and he explained why, saying that people watch him rather than the games he plays.

Since shroud began broadcasting after retiring as a professional CSGO player in 2018, a lot has happened. When Mixer stopped down, he reportedly made $10 million from his deal with the company.

He then made a triumphant comeback to Twitch, where he has been a top performer ever since, with an average of 18,000 viewers every broadcast.

He’s just as devoted as he’s always been. He stated, though, that he no longer attempts to stay up with the current Twitch trends.

The times have changed for a streamer like Shroud

Instead, he indicated that he would prefer to play games that he enjoys rather than those that spectators desire to watch.

“Do I care about what my viewers want me to play, or do I just play whatever I want? Oh no, I don’t give a f**k what they want me to play,” he said. “I’m not here for you guys. I’m here for me, and you guys are here for me.”

He did agree, though, that things weren’t always like this.

“Once upon a time, when I was streaming for so long and genuinely gave a f**k, I did.” I gave it my all when it came to the games that my chat suggested.”

He said it was because he wanted to boost his audience and persuade others to give and subscribe at the time. But it isn’t an issue for him any longer. “Now I can do whatever the heck I want.” “I don’t give a damn.”

It’s why, despite some fans’ complaints, he continues to webcast New World. It’s also why he didn’t get on the FFXIV Online bandwagon like everyone else. The man is free to play anything he wants, whenever he wants.
