Chess.com Awards are hosted annually to celebrate and honor the achievements within the chess world. Furthermore, each year’s awards involve active participation from the chess grandmasters, and the 2022 Chess Tour had the most amazing battle between Magnus Carlsen and Nakamura, which had thousands of fans biting their nails.
The awards also have a large variety of categories. The large variety of categories makes it fair for everyone involved. These awards gather more than 10,000 voters and are attended by chess grandmasters from across the world.
Furthermore, in 2022, this event witnessed some amazing performances by chess master GM Hikaru Nakamura and also young talents like Nodirbek Abdusattorov and Gukesh D.
The awards help give recognition to exceptional gameplay and record-breaking performances by Grandmaster Ian Nepomniachtchi. Moreover, these awards create a platform for the community to come together and celebrate the truly captivating game of chess.
