There will be a group of dynamic cards, different cards at different points in the time given by the EA. For example, if there’s the “Silver La Liga Star” evolution path, you can upgrade any silver player from Spain’s top division to a high-rated gold. Similarly, you can boost your current “Team of the Week” (TOTW) players through other evolution paths, unlocking their full potential.

To begin on the Evolution Path, you’ll need to assign the dynamic card player from your club to an “evolution path.” There they will transition into an “in progress” card. Once the player is in progress, a set of challenges will become available, offering the opportunity to complete them and unlock permanent improvements to the player’s statistics, abilities, positions, and PlayStyles.

At the moment, EA has not confirmed the specific type of challenges, but players would find the addition of long-term challenges beyond the simple scoring of goals and bagging assists to be fantastic. These challenges would particularly emphasize the transformation of each player into a true club legend, capturing the attention of those who are eager to showcase their commitment and passion for the game.

Additionally, players will face a time constraint, as they will receive a limited amount of time to initiate and complete these challenges. Moreover, starting the Evolution Path will require some coins at the beginning. This can be done to continue a regular cycle of changing dynamic cards and to include more players. 

Another interesting feature that Evolution Paths will bring us is that we will be able to change a player’s position by upgrading the aspects required for the new position. For example, if you already have a left back and a right back, you can still play Alphonso Davies in midfield by upgrading the required aspects.

Some reports have said that the upgrade cap for players will be gradually raised as the seasons progress. This means that in Season 2, you might only be able to raise your player’s rating to 80. However, as you reach Season 3 and beyond, you’ll have the opportunity to further progress and improve your players beyond that initial cap.
