Riot Games held the show matchowmatch during VCT Lock/In to showcase Gekko. They received a positive response from fans. This time, the VCT Master Tokyo 2023 show match will feature the new upcoming sentinel Deathlock in the new Team Deathmatch game mode.

The show match will feature Team Japan, headed by Kei ‘SPYGEA’ Takahashi, taking on V1’s female roster, IGL Melanie ‘Mel’ Capone’s Team International. Like previous show matches, meL and SPYGEA are expected to use Deathlock in the Team Deathmatch. Here are the complete teams:
