Fortnite: How to locate the Hall of Whispers?

Epic Games reintroduced their annual Halloween event, Fortnitemares in Fortnite, on October 10, 2023. The new event continues the Halloween festivities with a plethora of content, such as new skins, weapons, limited-time game modes such as Horde Rush, and crossovers with Michael Myers, Alan Wake, and Jack Skellington.

The Fortnitemares event also introduces many quests to Fortnite, such as destroying zombie road signs. As the event progresses, more and more quests are added to the game. Completing these quests will help you progress faster and reward you with XP. One of these quests requires you to “Travel from Secluded Spire to Hall of Whispers without touching the water.”

Locate the Hall of Whisper in Fortnitemares

Finding the locations

The Hall of Whispers is located just southwest of the Brutal Bastion. A grey structure is located in the snowy part of the map, just right of the spot where the river transitions into the snowy region from the Slappy Shores forest. To complete the challenge, you must find the Secluded Spire.

Located westwards of the Slappy Shores area, you will find a Y-junction where the river flows into three different paths. One of the water flows leads into the snowy region of the map, leading you to the Hall of Whispers. Walk directly opposite the direction of the flow, and you will spot a rounded structure. This is the Secluded Spire.

Traveling the ocean without touching the water

The area has many water bodies, making it tricky to complete the quest without touching it. The quickest way to complete the quest is to jump out of the battle bus and land in Secluded Spires. After this, use one of the methods below to travel to the Hall of Whispers.

  • Materials – You can collect building materials and build structures over the water. Walking on built structures over the water does not count as touching the water.
  • Witch Brooms – You can use witch brooms to travel across the map
  • Rocket Ram – Find a rocket ram in the nearby area. You can shoot yourself across the water without touching it and reach the hall of whispers.
  • Crash Pad Jrs – You can use Crashpad Jrs in nearby areas to launch yourself across the water.
  • Walk over Bridge – You can head down the river and walk over the bridge if you play zero build.

After completing the quest, you will receive a pop-up as confirmation. Completing this quest will reward you with 15,000 XP. The quest is also a part of the Sneak Like Shadow set.
