HoYoverse has started the pre-installation function for the upcoming update. This implies that players are nearing the Genshin Impact 3.5 release date. The developers have already informed me on their Twitter account about the maintenance schedule and upcoming content for the 3.5 version.

The new version has a lot in store for the players. They are not only getting new characters, such as Dehya and Mika, but new enemies as well. This will make the game even more interesting. Additionally, players will meet Dainsleif once again in the new Archon Quest. Since Dainsleif remains mysterious most of the time, players will be curious to gather more information.

What is the Genshin Impact 3.5 release date?

As per the official announcement, Genshin Impact 3.5 release date is on March 1st. This patch will last for 42 days and will be divided in two different phases. For each patch, players will see new events and character event wishes.

To add the new content, game servers will be down for a brief period of time. HoYoverse has stated that Genshin Impact will be taken down on March 1, 2023, at 06:00 (UTC+8). It goes without saying that the maintenance will last for 5 hours, for which players will be getting 300 primogems as compensation.

Travelers should note that only those who hold Adventure Rank 5 or above are eligible to claim the reward. They need to do so within 30 days of receiving the amount.

Character event wishes

There will be a total of four character event wishes, divided in two for each phase. Only the first banner is a new character, whereas the rest will be rerun of previous characters. Not only that, the second rerun phase will add a 4-star character in the game. Here are all the upcoming banners in Genshin Impact 3.5 update:

  • Dehya (new)
  • Cyno (rerun)
  • Shenhe (rerun)
  • Ayaka (rerun)

New weapons

The new update will add a claymore to the player’s inventory. The Beacon of the Reed Sea is the signature weapon of Dehya that can be obtained from the Epitome Invocation banner. Players can also get a free Claymore Mailed Flower’ from an event, although its rarity is 4-star.

To make things tougher, HoYoverse has decided to add a new enemy under the Abyss Herald and Black Serpent Knight category. Players should consider using healers if they go up in arms against them.
