GTA Online has been out for almost more than a decade now. Moreover, despite the continuous DLCs and new mission content, sometimes it can get a bit boring. Doing the same missions or tasks over and over can make the game less fun for a lot of players. And this is GTA Online‘s glitches and bug exploitation that come into play. These newfound glitches and bugs can make the game fun for players. This gives them a way to do missions in different ways, which is interesting. And the best of these glitches in GTA Online is the God Mode glitch.

Although exploiting bugs or glitches isn’t the way to play any game, it sure adds to the fun of it! Moreover, considering these bugs are due to the developer’s fault, players don’t get penalized when exploiting them. Devs tend to fix such bugs swiftly when they discover them so they don’t turn into something game-breaking. However, surprisingly enough, fun glitches and bugs like this plague games, so players should also make the best use of them!

One such bug in Rockstar Games GTA Online right is the God Mode glitch. However, this glitch is only available on console platforms like PlayStation & Xbox. So let’s get into how to go God Mode in GTA Online!

How to go God Mode in GTA Online?

This glitch only works on consoles like PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox One, Xbox X & S series. Furthermore, this glitch can be a bit tricky after activation. However, the way to bypass the imperfection of this glitch is easy, with the reward being really sweet.

PlayStation 4 & 5

  • Visit the office of Downtown Cab Co. (a taxi company you can find on your map) located in the East Vinewood neighborhood near Tangerine Street.
  • Spot the white circle on the ground in front of the office, right outside the main door. Don’t get confused with the Arm Wrestling mission circle.
  • Go to the white circle and press the right D-pad button. This will start the Taxi Work job.
  • However, as soon as you press the right D-pad button, press and hold the Triangle button on your Dualsense controller.
  • You’ll be teleported below the game map in a state of free-fall. If you take damage, then that indicates the glitch hasn’t worked. So if you have any explosives on you, blow them up on yourself. This will also show if you have the God Mode on or not.

Xbox One, X|S

  • Follow the same steps as above and reach the white circle for the Taxi Work Job.
  • Press the right D-pad button to start the job.
  • This time press and hold the Y-button, and you’ll be teleported outside the map.

Now the main thing would be to get out of this glitched-out section of the map. However, it’s easy to do. Just follow your mini-map, and go to the sewers section. As soon as you enter there, the textures will return, and until you close the game, the God Mode will be active. Moreover, this glitch is really fun to pull off with friends, as you can wreak havoc throughout the map without the fear of dying.
