Hogwarts Legacy: How to complete Wand Mastery main quest

The Wand Mastery Quest in Hogwarts Legacy can be challenging. Even so, players can easily navigate the map, defeat opponents, and find the treasure. Players must actively explore corridors in Hogwarts, its basements, and other places like Hogsmeade in order to complete the quest. By engaging in battles and completing quests and activities, new fifth-year students can become true wizards and explore the vast wizarding world.

To complete the Wand Mastery quest in Hogwarts Legacy, players need to take all the segments that the Pensieve guardian drops to Olivander’s. There the shop owner will craft a special wand for the player. However, after completing the task players will face Victor Rookwood who will corner them. Rookwood’s main objective is to get hold of the wand as according to him it’s his birth right.

How to complete Wand Mastery in Hogwarts Legacy?

• When you visit the Olivander’s, you will be greeted by the shop owner Gerbold Olivander, with a message that he already knows about why you are there. Next players have to give him all the Pensieve fragments and from them he will forge a special wand, this the first step of Wand Mastery challenge.

• Next, Olivander will pursue to create the wand and then he will give it back to you. Once you receive the Wand you will exit the shop and have an encounter with Rookwood which begins the next phase of the Wand Mastery quest.

• Upon coming across Rookwood, he will demand the Wand to be handed over to him. According to him his and the player’s objectives are one in the same but that’s not the case in reality. Next, he will challenge you to a duel and you will be instantly teleported to combat arena where you have to fight and beat Rookwood. But it won’t be that easy as his henchmen will also interfere and try to assist him in any way possible.

• It will take several attempts to take down all the henchmen while trying to complete the Wand Mastery quest. It’s better to use spells like Bombarda, Descendo and Diffindo to get rid of Rookwood’s cronies.

• Finally, you will have to duke it out against Rookwood in a one and one showdown. Rookwood will put up a good fight by using spells like Avada Kadavra, which players need to be wary off. When locked in a stalemate PC users have to keep pressing the Space bar to gain momentum. If you are console player press O button repeatedly. Once you break the stalemate you defeat Rookwood.

After defeating Rookwood, you will complete the Wand Mastery quest/challenge. Moreover, completing this quest marks the finishing of Hogwarts Legacy’s Final Repository main mission. As a reward players will receive around 600xp points and will reach level 25.
