Hogwarts Legacy: How to find and capture Graphorn?

Hogwarts Legacy has been one of the most popular action RPG games ever since it was released. With its vast storyline and characters, the game offers an over-the-top gameplay experience.  Set in the 1800s, the game dives into the Wizarding World created by J.K Rowling and features tons of lore, trials, and magical beasts. These magical beasts like in the books are mystical creatures that can be captured and tamed using various methods. Graphorn is among these beasts in Hogwarts Legacy.

Graphorns are large mountain-dwelling beasts with a tough guide and two sharp horns known for their aggressive nature. Their tentacle-like appendages are used for capturing goods. Its horns are considered a highly prized potion ingredient. Graphorns emit an orange glow when angered and are able to repel spells. Despite its hostile nature, Graphorns are known to befriend witches and wizards.

Tame a Graphorn in Hogwarts Legacy

Graphorn is the final beast that the players get access to. It is also one of two beasts that are locked behind the story Progression along with Pheonix. Graphorn is introduced very late in the story. Players can only find and rescue Graphorn after finishing San Bakar’s Trial. It is the third-last quest of the game. During the quest, you will face another quest, Lord of the Shore. During this part of the main quest, you will fight this mountain-dwelling beast.

In the quest to capture Graphorn, the player will have to use a combination of spells and potions to weaken the beast. Once the beast is in a vulnerable state, it is going to charge towards you. Players can choose to either kneel or attack it and either option will let you capture it.

After defeating this Graphorn, you will be able to ride it and take fights with enemies. Players will be able to use this Graphorn as a mount in Hogawatrs Legacy. You can open your map and locate the Graphorn after finishing up the quest. Graphorn’s Den is located in the southernmost region of the map on Clagmar Coast. Head to the Clagmar castle Floo Flame and head southeast to find the Graphorn Den. But this location is only accessible after you complete the quest.

Once the beast is captured it can be used in a variety of ways. Players can mount on it and travel to various places as transport. You can also take the Graphorn to The Brood and Peck and sell it to get some Galleons in Hogwarts Legacy. Players can also take it to the Room of Requirements and use it to extract potion ingredients from it. These ingredients will come in handy at later quests of the game. Players can also choose to breed the beast. This can be done by capturing Graphorns of both sexes and breeding them.
