With the recent Gone Fishin update, there was the addition of Fishing rods into the game. Gamers have the chance to craft four different varieties of the fishing rod. The four rarities are common, uncommon, rare, and epic.

All the different varieties of fishing rods in LEGO Fortnite give players a chance to obtain different craftables and other resources. Gamers will earn all these varieties by adding specific resources to their inventories.

These are the following resources that gamers will need in their inventory to unlock all the different rarities of Fishing rods:

  • Common Fishing Rod- Gamers will earn this basic, common version of the fishing rod by adding a cord to their inventory. Gamers will make this by adding 5 vines to the spinning wheel.
  • Uncommon Fishing Rod- This version of the fishing rod is a little better than the common one and gamers can earn this by adding Knotroot in their inventory.
  • Rare Fishing Rod- The recipe for this unlocks once gamers add flexwood roots.
  • Legendary Fishing rod- This unlocks once gamers add frostpine rods.

Crafting fishing rods in LEGO Fortnite

The resources needed for crafting the fishing rods are pretty basic. Here’s what gamers need:

  • Common Fishing Rod- Gamers need 1 wooden rod, 2 cords, and 1 wolf claw.
  • Uncommon Fishing Rod- Gamers need 2 knotroot rods,3 cords, 1 silk thread, and 3 wolf claws
  • Rare Fishing Rod- Gamers need 3 flexwood rods,1 drawstring (can be gotten by using 5 cords at a spinning wheel), 2 wool thread, and 3 sand claws
  • Legendary Fishing Rod- Gamers need 4 frostpine rods, 2 drawstrings, 3 heavy wool thread, and 3 arctic claws

What to do with Fishing Rods in LEGO Fortnite

Players will need to locate water bodies in LEGO Fortnite first. After this, they will have to make a small pier if there isn’t one present on the water body. After this gamers can officially start the calming activity of Fishing in LEGO Fortnite.

Players should equip their fishing rod and then press R2 to cast it. Moreover, gamers should tragically cast their line in an area that is full of fish. After this, gamers will have to wait a bit until a fish bites.

Gamers then need to press and hold R2 to finally reel in the fish and finally put it in their inventory or drop it into the water in EPIC Games’ LEGO Fortnite.
