Five Nights at Freddy’s will undoubtedly become one of the most iconic horror video games ever. The innovative indie horror game immerses players in a spine-chilling test of survival. With 13 games in the series, the franchise is one of the most successful indie series ever. The famous horror game has now also been imitated in Fortnite.

Developers add tons of new content to games during Halloween to fit the spooky season vibe. Players have seen games like GTA Online and NBA 2k24 come out with Halloween-themed content. For Halloween 2023, a Fortnite player brought Five Nights at Freddy’s into Fortnite.

A Fortnite map creator has enabled gamers to enter the world of Five Nights at Freddy’s in Fortnite. This comes just in time to coincide with the release of the Five Nights at Freddy’s movie. The creator released a video of the map based on Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria, which was recreated in UEFN. This isn’t the first game to be recreated in Fortnite. Brookhaven RP was recently created in Unreal Engine Fortnite Engine (UEFN).

Five Nights at Freddy’s in Fortnite

The mode isn’t a Battle Royale variation but an entirely new game mode. The new mode twists the classic Five Nights at Freddy’s. It challenges players to play as Freddy and hunt down others in the game lobby. If you become the prey, you will have to hide from the animatronics instead.

To play Five Nights at Freddy’s in Fortnite, do the following –

  • Launch Fortnite
  • Scroll down the Fortnite lobby onto the Discover menu
  • You may see the game mode under the “People Love” category.
  • Launch the game mode by clicking on “Select.”
  • If you do not see it under “People Love”, you can search for the game mode as “Five Nights at Freddy’s”.
  • Launch the game mode by clicking on “Select”.

You should then be able to launch the mode and get right into the game mode. You can also invite your friends to the lobby before launching the game to play together with them.
