Mortal Kombat, over the years, has been known for its exquisite combat animation. With the new edition of the game series, Mortal Kombat 1, the fights look more realistic than ever, and the funk of gaming in fights also remains true. There are plenty of tiny details as to what moves and combos to use with our fighter. With superstar voiceovers in the trailer and bloodthirsty characters making a comeback, Mortal Kombat 1 is a dime to get on.
On top of all of this, the fatalities have been the most popular part of Mortal Kombat. In the latest edition, there are few changes in the fatality system, but the authenticity still remains. Each fighter comes along with two fatal moves. One unlocked by default at the start and one to grind for.

Finish your opponents with the lethal Fatality moves in Mortal Kombat 1
Fatality Move is a collection of deadly combos you perform at the last stages of the fight. You can end the fight with fatalities, given that you don’t end it with brutal moves. When your opponent’s health is almost zero, you can hear a scream, ‘Finish him’, and about 5 seconds from that is your chance to perform the fatal move. The input for fatal moves for each character can be seen in the Move List of the tab Finishers.

Unlocking Fatality Move 2 :
It’s seen that every fighter entering Mortal Kombat 1 has one fatal move unlocked at the start. While these moves are like death penalties, wanting more than one in your bag is a no-brainer. Unlocking the second Fatality Move requires time and experience in the game.
Mortal Kombat 1 players need to increase the Mastery level with every character to unlock their second Fatality. This can be achieved by using particular character in-game modes like towers, the invasion mode, and more. Contrarily, this makes your character level up, and at some stage, the second fatality move is unlocked in Mortal Kombat 1.
There’s been an addition or trick to use the second fatal move in this edition; it’s being mentioned that if you know the inputs to the particular character’s second fatal move, you can perform it without having to unlock it with the above-mentioned method. Apart from all the main character’s moves, the additional 15 Kameo fighters are also said to have their own fatal blows.
Furthermore, being able to hop on and know every input to characters’ detailed fighting skills helps you land the final strike easier than ever. That must cover all you need to know about the fatalities in Mortal Kombat 1. Finally, the game is upgraded to next-gen graphics and story modes, and the authenticity of vintage Mortal Kombat still remains true.
