MrBeast vs PewDiePie: Who has a better net worth in 2024?
The MrBeast vs PewDiePie debate finally comes to an end.
Everyone was expecting it, and it finally happened. MrBeast has now officially overtaken PewDiePie as the highest subscribed individual on YouTube. Although both are at 111 million subscribers, Mr. Beast is inching forward, and would most likely stay there as Felix hasn’t been posting regularly for quite a while now. He is currently spending more time with his wife in Japan, bringing his subscriber count to a standstill.
MrBeast fans were rooting for him and cheering him on to cross PewDiePie. However, it was never a battle between Jimmy and Felix, as both of them are really good friends. MrBeast helped PewDiePie reach 100 million subscribers during his battle with Indian music company T-Series, and PewDiePie was seen telling his fans how if MrBeast surpasses him, it would be truly deserving for him.
However, now that it has happened, let’s take a look at the difference between both the creators’ net worth in 2024.
How much does MrBeast make?
At the time of writing, MrBeast has 151 million subscribers, and a huge fan following that loves his unique style of videos. MrBeast is the trendsetter of quite a unique genre on YouTube, where his videos usually revolve around him and his friends participating in fun challenges with enormous cash prizes or luxury items. However, he also has a philanthropic side to him, where he gives back to the community that loves him so much.
Now, considering how Jimmy gifts his friends Lamborghinis or his subscriber an island, everyone wonders the same thing, how much does he earn? While most of the time the cash and gifts he offers are procured by whoever is sponsoring that particular video, his views and reach amass to a pretty large sum from his YouTube money.
Forbes has ranked MrBeast as the highest-earning YouTuber, with an estimated net worth of over $105 million as of 2024. This is about as much money as Dwayne ‘the Rock’ Johnson, or Lewis Hamilton earns!
How much does PewDiePie make?
Although he is not in his element right now, PewDiePie too isn’t too bad in terms of money. With 111 million subscribers, he still is one of the most famous people on the platform and has been there since the platform itself started garnering attention. PewDiePie had his ups and downs during his time at YouTube.
He became popular and arguably had some of his best YouTube years from 2012 to 16 during which he broke many records and got the number 1 YouTuber title. But he was riddled with controversies in 2017, which he jumped back up from, and hasn’t slowed down since. These ups and downs do make it a bit harder to estimate his net worth, but as of 2024, it is reckoned to be somewhere around $75 million, which is just a bit shy of his assumed “rival”.
PewDiePie has a lot of revenue sources, as in addition to his YouTube money, he has also launched mobile games like the Tuber simulator, as well as has arguably some of the best merchandise, including his legendary “Pewdiepie chair”.
Thus, although Mr. Beast may have won the subscriber game, he is still very humble about it. He is also very lucky to have such a good friend in PewDiePie, who is such a good sport regarding all of this. The apprentice has surpassed the master, although they might not be that far off money-wise.
