“There’s been targetted harassment”: 39daph receives Twitch ban due to mass reports, unbanned within minutes
39daph was unbanned in 33 minutes and 10 seconds after her ban was announced
39daph, real name Daphne Wai, has built quite a huge community around herself and her streams over the years. However, this also brings her to the notice of some “bad apples” on the internet, and her current situation can prove this to be true.
The Sentinels streamer was recently struck with a ban on Twitch, which eventually got withdrawn in around 30 minutes, with 39daph claiming that the ban could’ve been the result of people mass reporting her over past incidents.

39daph alleges mass reports over out-of-context screenshots
39daph’s ban came as a shock, first being revealed by the automated Twitter account StreamerBans. Her Twitch channel displayed the message “This channel is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.” at that time. However, just 33 minutes later, her channel was unbanned, with many fans rushing to the channel’s chat in joy.
This was the first time 39daph had been banned on the platform. The streamer joked about the whole situation by tweeting “nice ban” after getting the quick unban from Twitch. The streamer then explained that the ban was over mass reports of sexual content from the game Immortality, with Twitch quickly realising their mistake as the game is permitted to stream by them.
In a later tweet, she attached a clip which explained the reason behind the mass reports. In another tweet, she explained-
"incase anyone has been out of the loop, theres been targetted harassment as a direct result of recent collabs & ppl maliciously spreading lies from something cleared up a year ago"
The harassment, as well as the mass reports, were due to malicious viewers disapproving of her recent collaborations with VTubers from the Hololive brand. People had also been harassing her over using the word “cracker”, considered derogatory by fringe groups in the USA. HasanAbi had also been banned for using that word in the past.

39daph explained that her using the word was in context to discussing Hasan’s ban as the two are close friends. She claimed the clip was being used out-of-context to spread hate against her, some people even going as far as trying to get her fired from her current organisation, Sentinels.
