Lil Nas X has landed himself in a lot of hot water thanks to his latest single, J Christ. The song’s cover art features Lil Nas X lying on a cross, being carried by five others. The rapper recently released a teaser for the song’s music video, which features many people lining up to go to heaven. Many people are upset with this picturization, including streamers such as Adin Ross.
Lil Nas X has tried to get himself out of the situation, claiming that he is a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ himself. He began by saying that he had dedicated the song to the man who had the greatest comeback of all time, Jesus Christ.
Lil Nas X also posted a photo of his acceptance letter to Liberty University, a Christian School located in Virginia. He added he will be pursuing a dual concentration in Christian Leadership and Biblical Studies. Hence, he is trying to prove his dedication to his religion. Despite these efforts, he has failed to acquit himself of the accusations against him.
