Alfa Romeo F1 team unveils the special KICK-themed livery for the upcoming Belgian Grand Prix
Alfa Romeo F1 and Kick's fans can now rejoice at the Belgian Grand Prix!
After entering the streaming world back at the beginning of the year 2023, Alfa Romeo now has bigger news to share. Alfa Romeo F1 team has now unveiled their all-new, KICK-themed livery for the Belgian Grand Prix. Alfa Romeo first made headlines in the streaming world when they took to Twitter to announce that would be sponsored by Kick.com
Following through, they would also be sponsored by Stake, which all made sense as Kick.com was said to be sponsored by them as they faced backlash for it online. The first occasion of the sponsorship of Kick was lively present at the bodywork of Alfa Romeo’s 2023 C43 car. The ‘Kick’ logo, along with ’95-5′ stickers, are visible, referring to the 95-5 creators split that Kick boasted amongst other streaming platforms for follower subscriptions.

Alfa Romeo’s Revised Livery for the Belgian GP
In January, Alfa Romeo‘s partnership with Kick proved to be nothing but successful. Within its first 7 months, the streaming site has acquired OVER 14 million registered users. A lot was said by Alessandro Alunni Bravi, the Team Representative of the Alfa Romeo F1 team. “KICK has been disrupting its market sector since its inception, and the livery they created for us for Spa fits into this philosophy: it is different, it is striking, and it is something designed to be different and create attention.”
Furthermore, he describes how Kick has impacted the sports company, and dedicates this new livery to the dedicated fans of the F1 company. He says ” We could not be prouder of having KICK inspire the livery for the upcoming GP weekend at Spa. At KICK, we put our Creators first by spotlighting the names of our ambassadors on the halo of our F1 car. We pride ourselves in bringing fairness with style to the live-streaming game. Our 95-5 business split to our Creators is what allows KICK to excel compared to its competitors; highlighted on the livery.”
This livery was done in celebration of their partnership with Kick. They have added neon green accents to the company’s branding, as mentioned earlier. The special livery will be available to be used in the new F1 23 video game as well, but it is said to only be added during August. These highlighted eye-catching designs will embody the enlightening and innovative nature of both the Kick and Alfa Romeo F1 teams.
How has Alfa Romeo been performing thus far?
In the recent F1 Hungarian GP, they surprisingly qualified fifth and seventh places. An unfortunate bad start for both racers of the F1 team, Zhou Guanyu and Valtteri Bottas had made it difficult for them to catch up and overtake the lead. In the 2023 constructor’s championship, the squad remains 9th as they head to the final race before the Belgian GP.
Bottas affirms that their return to GP will be different as they will work hard to progress and prosper with the right configuration. As far as what happened in the Hungarian GP, he recalls saying, “We had a good chance to turn a strong qualifying into points but, unfortunately, our race got compromised on lap one, just after the start. Zhou, who was in front of me, had some issues with the brake system strategy, so I had to move around him, losing some momentum.”
But he ends by saying this experience will only add to their abilities and they will take the potential they built from this race, onto Spa-Francorchamps and showcase their adjustments during the Belgian GP.
