Valorant’s next update, Episode 6 Act 1 will include a new map called Lotus. Valorant, which launched in 2019 with four maps and ten agents, now has seven maps and nineteen agents in 2023. The game has received criticism for its most recent maps, Pearl and Fracture, so it seems that Riot Games is looking to improve with the release of Lotus.

According to leaks and rumors, Lotus will feature a destructible landscape and a silent drop, among other mechanics. The map is set in India, following the recent release of the Indian agent. The Episode 6 debut trailer hints at the mysterious abilities that will be included in the map.

Players can expect to spend countless hours exploring and mastering the various components of Lotus. The release date for Episode 6 Act 1, including the new map and a skin bundle. The new map is in the Western Ghats in India. This is going to be a scenic map with three bomb sites like Haven.

Valorant’s upcoming Episode 6 Act 1 update will include a new map called Lotus, which will be the ninth map for the game. According to the official Valorant Twitter account, the map will have a serene, ecological backdrop and three bomb sites for players to explore. It will also feature novel mechanics such as revolving doors and a destroyable wall, as well as a silent drop mechanic in the game.

Set in the Western Ghats region of India on Omega Earth, the map will include traditional Indian architectural features as inspiration, such as stepwells, rock-cut construction, and Dravidian design. The map’s developer, Joe Lansford, cites locations like Rani Ki Vav, Ellora Caves, and Badami Cave Temples as some of the sources of inspiration.

The publisher said that it is not a temple and has no connection to any particular religion. Instead, The “Lost City” map is with immense power in the game’s lore. Players can expect to discover hidden cues and components throughout the map that will give a precise visual portrayal of the Guardians in the narrative.

Episode 5 Act 1 will be out on January 10th. Players can look forward to exploring the new map and discovering all of its unique features.
