YouTube stars KSI and IShowSpeed took to the boxing ring on December 16 to settle their online rivalry. The charity sparring session saw the young American emerge victorious, as the rapper tapped out in sympathy after the fourth round. Furthermore, the bout was held in London to raise funds for the Anthony Walker Foundation.
The fight began with KSI and IShowSpeed circling each other before Speed landed a body shot on the SIDEMEN star. However, KSI’s experience in the squared circle soon took over and seemed too much for IShowSpeed to handle. Although he managed to land some heavy shots on KSI, he was dropped to the canvas after KSI landed a body shot.
KSI, who opted not to wear a headguard, started the second round strong, pulling his punches, and showboating. IShowSpeed desperately tried to catch his breath, failed to land a single shot, and was pinned against the ropes.
How did IShowSpeed beat KSI?
The two kept trash-taking throughout the fight and KSI seemed to take it easy with the 18-year-old inexperienced boxer. But after a hard body shot dropped IShowSpeed, he looked like he was in pain. However, In the third round, KSI gave Speed time to recover. In the round, he rushed toward Darren throwing a flurry of shots that barely hurt him.
“We’ve over a hundred thousand viewers watching us man. I want you to take this. You know what? For you, for your tenacity, I’m gonna tap out. You win, bro.”

In the fourth round, after a brief clinch, IShowSpeed amusingly tried to run away from KSI, before the bell sounded for the end. They were now due to fight for two more rounds. Ahead of round 5, KSI sat down next to IShowSpeed, who looked like he was out of the contest. KSI praised the young opponent’s tenacity and tapped out endearingly.
IShowSpeed, while sobbing, rejected KSI’s offer to end the bout and asked KSI to continue. He was furious with KSI and himself and desperately wanted to continue the fight. He said,
It’s not over. I said six rounds. I’m a grown a** man. I can do it. On god, it’s not over. I said six rounds. I’m not done fighting. I said six rounds, come one! Stop being a b**ch.”
KSI didn’t accept his wish to continue and exited the ring. After KSI left the ring, Speed was seen crying and begging for KSI to continue. Furthermore, he was seen storming off the gym without speaking a word and even refused to shake KSI’s hand. Many speculate that IShowSpeed will start focusing on boxing after this disrespect.
