Apex Legends season 17

Respawn has had its fair share of troubles following various issues faced by players throughout Season 16 of Apex Legends. However, with the date for the release of Season 17 drawing closer, Respawn has put in all effort to bring the game back to its former glory. Season 17 introduces us to a new Legend named Ballistic and various other game modes and updates.

August “Ballistic” Brinkman was a legend from the Thunderdome Games. He was the first celebrity from Thunderdome games ever produced. However the fame for him did not last due to his amazing yet selfish plays that caused his teammate’s death. This led to his downfall and turned him into a recluse with people remembering him as a has been. Years after his retirement from the Thunderdome Games, his son who had left due to him being a recluse gets into the Apex Games. Enraged and worried Ballistic heads to the Apex headquarters and demands that his son be replaced with him. The Head of Apex Games agrees as the return of a Legend would be very beneficial to them. At the age of 63 he will be the oldest Legend on the roster.

Ballistic is the newest addition to the legends roster of Apex Legends. He will belong to the assault class i.e the class that is allowed access to the red supply bins that drop extra attachments and is allowed to carry more ammo in one slot. Apex Legends did not receive a new legend or a gun in season 16 after the release of legend Catalyst and new map Broken moon in season 15. Fans have been hyped for the new assault legend but are also hoping for the developers to fix the issues such as hackers, DDosers, FOV bugs etc before the new season hits the servers.

Ballistic Passive and skills

The new Apex Legends assault legend Ballistic has an almost overpowered skill set. He also is suspected to have a rare animation while picking up the CAR SMG weapon like Mad Maggie does for shotguns and Vantage for the Sentinel. The release of a new assault legends has fans hyped as the las tone to be released was in season 12 in the form of the violent hooligan Mad Maggie.

Coming to the passive and skillset of Ballistic, the 63 year old legend is a absolute beast.

  • Passive: ( Weapon Sling) – Ballistic’s passive allows him to carry a third weapon, which was impossible in Apex Legends until now. Although being able to carry 3 weapons, the weapon added to his weapon sling cannot have any attachment attached to it.
  • Tactical: (Smart Bullet) – Ballistic’s tactical skill allows him to fire a “smart bullet” at enemies that causes the opponent’s gun to overheat every time they try to shoot it. Overheating the gun in turn results in heavy damage to the opponent hit by the ” smart bullet”
  • Ultimate: (Weapon Enhancer) – Balllistic’s Ultimate is absolutely powerful. When Weapon Enhancer is activated, him and his teammates receive infinite ammo, increased movement speeds and quicker reloads. This Ultimate can seriously turn the tides of a 3 vs 3 engagement in the game.
