Best M16 loadout in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

There have always been a lot of different weapons in Call of Duty. There are several fantastic weapons in the FPS series. Players who have played Call of Duty 4 way back in 2007, know how lethal M16 is. Activision has added M16 in Modern Warfare 2. But, It is surpassed by pretty much every other gun in the game, since the launch of MW2.

In the most recent Call of Duty game, Modern Warfare 2,  determining the optimal M16 loadout can be challenging. There is a vast selection of attachments available to pick from to suit all playing styles thanks to modifications to the Gunsmith. You can prepare the M16 for any situation, whether it’s close-quarters combat or long-range combat. The M16 can thrive in mid-range situations due to its potent burst-firing mechanism, and with the appropriate attachments, its long-range capability is difficult to match. However, when trying to get a kill, visual recoil might hinder eyesight.

Other than for the weapon camo collection, there isn’t much of a purpose to rank up the M16. however, you can improve M16 to some extent with better loadout in Modern Warfare 2. But don’t be shocked if you find yourself constantly outgunned.

Muzzle: FTAC Castle Comp

FTAC Castle Comp muzzle helps in controlling recoil. Although headshots can eliminate enemies in a single burst, the additional recoil control should make it easy for you to line up a second burst. Although this attachment does slow down your sight speed, it is not enough to be a real inconvenience.

Underbarrel: VX Pineapple Vert Grip

VX pineapple vertical grip improves hip fire accuracy, hip recoil control, gun kick control, and aim walking steadiness. It is perfect when you have to use hip fire. It tremendously improves M16 handling. This attachment also slows down your sight speed.

Stock: Demo Fade Pro Stock

The mobility of the M16 is one of its shortcomings. With the help of the Demo Fade Pro Stock attachment, you may move more quickly on the battlefield by improving your sprint and aim walking speeds.

Rear Grip: XTEN Grip

XTEN grip reduces its recoil and improves aiming stability. It also provides better mobility with better ADS speed. All this contributes to better precision which ultimately elevates its value.

Optic: Cronen Mini Red Dot

With this M16 build, you might be tempted to choose a higher magnification optic, and there is a case to be made for doing. At the moment, the Cronen Mini Red Dot is unquestionably the best sight available, especially when you take into account how many sightlines and opportunities there are for close-quarters combat in Modern Warfare 2.

The standard red dot is usually advantageous for the M16 and the majority of assault rifles, but feel free to experiment with other options for the optic slot.

These attachments will help you control your M16 better which is an apparent issue in Modern Warfare 2.
