BGMI 1.8.5 update patch notes: Jujutsu Kaisen theme mode, Santorini map and more announced

Krafton has released a preview video regarding BGMI 1.8.5 update patch notes which will bring a new theme mode in the classic matches of the game. The most awaited 8vs8 TDM map is also arriving in the February update of Battlegrounds Mobile India.

The previous update of the battle-royale game had brought the exclusive Spiderman mode into the game which became immensely popular due to the unique game mechanics where players could use the web-shooters of Spider-Man. Apart from that, a new post-apocalyptic mode called Aftermath was released for Livik which can be still played now. Players who were waiting for the Jujutsu Kaisen themed mode can know the details in BGMI 1.8.5 update patch notes.

BGMI 1.8.5 update patch notes

The February update of Battlegrounds Mobile India has brought the much anticipated Jujutsu Kaisen themed game mode. This collaboration was announced in PUBG Mobile before the release of the 1.8 update. Previous leaks had suggested that the themed game mode will bring the 4 main characters in the game and this has proven to be true in BGMI 1.8.5 update.

Jujutsu Kaisen themed mode

The Jujutsu Kaisen themed mode in BGMI is going to be released as a part of a crossover with one of the most popular anime series that goes by the same name. Players can meet the 4 characters in the starting island.

Treasure Boxes

Players can find a lot of treasure boxes scattered around the map which will provide them with advanced supplies. The location of these boxes can also be found in the Season Stats where players need to click on the Sukuna Fingers.

Summon BOSS

Skull grenades can be found in different places of the map. Players can throw these grenades on a wide space to summon cursed bosses, defeat them to loot for supplies.

Santorini

A new map named Santorini based on the Santorini Island will be available in the BGMI 1.8.5 update. It will be added in the Unranked as well as Arena section. This map can be played in both Arena Training and Team Deathmatch. Unlike the previous Arena matches, players need to score 80 points as this will be a 8vs8 TDM map.

Partner Quick Voice

New quick voices of famous streamers will be added in BGMI 1.8.5 update. As of now, only Jonathan’s voice is available that needs to be bought with UC, players can purchase more quick voices when they are released in late February.
