Krafton has finally released the patch notes for BGMI 1.9 update which is going to be pushed out on the Indian servers in March. Few days ago, Tencent had given hints on the possible features of the new update in PUBG Mobile and players can now finally look at what new features are coming for them.

Much to the players delight, BGMI 1.9 update will also celebrate the 4th anniversary of PUBG Mobile and might introduce special anniversary rewards in the new update. Apart from that, there are high chances that another Holi based event could be seen in the game as soon as the update is rolled out. Without further ado, let us know the new features.

For the first time ever, Krafton is going to introduce a special in-game mode that will be based on an Indian festival- Holi. Gamers can play this special game mode by navigating to the Ranked mode matches and clicking on the Arrow option to change the game mode.


Sky Island

The Sky Island mode will also be added in the BGMI 1.9 update where players can experience different terrains. One of the terrain will be similar to the pyramids of Egypt and another will be similar to a Winter themed ice castle which players can enjoy once they land from the aeroplane.

At the Sky Island, players will assume a different character where their headgear will change into a bubble shape of any random color. These random colors will be based on the four different sections of Sky Island. Following which, players can collect different coins which can be used for summoning special package on the ground.


Vibrant Plaza/ Camp

Vibrant camp

The Vibrant Plaza or Camp in BGMI 1.9 update will be scattered around different locations in Erangel which will be marked in the mini map. Players will find advanced supplies as well as a new vehicle called Bicycle in this area. Although, it is importnat to note that players will become vulnerable to attack once they ride bicycles.


Apart from these features, players will be able to see a revamped version of Cheer Park in the BGMI 1.9 update. Even though the release date for the update has not been announced officially, players can expect the BGMI 1.9 update to be rolled out between 18-20th March.
