Krafton lived up to their promise of providing full-fledged tournaments of Battlegrounds Mobile India this year as just after wrapping up the BGMI Showdown 2022, the CEO of Krafton in India announced the dates on which the registrations for BGMI India Series 2022 will commence.
The eSports scenario of Krafton’s BGMI this year began with the Open Challenge and then later shifted to Pro Series which consisted a prize pool of 2 Crores INR. Another invitational tournament was hosted recently with 15 lakhs up for grabs.
BGMI India Series 2022 details
The eSports roadmap for this year was revealed in the month of February this year where it was stated that four different tournaments will be held for this year with increased prize pools. While BMPS 2022 consisted a prize pool of 2 Crores, the highest for any tournament in the country, fans are assuming even larger prize for the BGMI India Series 2022.
During the prize giving ceremony of BGMI Showdown, Sean Hyunil Sohn who is Krafton’s CEO for the Indian region revealed that the registrations for the next major tournament will commence from 28th July. The registration process for the tournament is expected to be similar as well. Follow these quick steps to get your team registered-
- Open BGMI Esports or click here to navigate there directly.
- Click on the ‘Register’ button and fill in the required details such as details of the team members and the leader.
- After double checking the details, click on the ‘submit’ button. A confirmation mail will be sent to the given e-mail address
While these are the basic steps for the registrations, players can be assured of getting more details on the BGMI India Series 2022 once Krafton decides to reveal its teaser. As it will be an open for all tournament, underdog teams will get the opportunity to showcase their talents at the bigger platform.
Last year, the winner of the tournament was sent to the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021 which is the biggest tournament of PUBG Mobile in a specific year. It is safe to assume that a similar phenomenon will occur this year as well.
