BGMI: Krafton disqualifies 41 teams from BMOC 2022

The first major BGMI tournament this year hosted by Krafton, Battlegrounds Mobile Open Challenge (BMOC) had kicked off with the in-game qualifiers from April 4th. The tournament has now reached its second stage of online qualifiers but Krafton announced that 41 teams and 1 team have been disqualified and banned respectively.
After the successful conclusion of BMOC The Grind, the online qualifiers commenced with 512 teams qualifying from the in-game qualifiers. The month long tournament will see the battle of professional as well as amateur teams facing each other to decide the results on May 4th.

BMOC 2022: 41 Teams disqualified by Krafton over miscellaneous issues
Krafton takes quite stringent measures to counter those teams who are found violating the rules and regulations of the tournament. The previous tournament BGIS 2021 also saw teams getting banned but that were primarily due to the teams using illegal tools. However, the disqualification of 41 teams took place due to the following reasons-
- Rule 2.1.5 (Single Team Exclusivity)- Player or coach can compete from one team only else they will be disqualified from the tournament.
- Rule 3.2 (Submission)- of the Roster and Team Registration- The team should not play unapproved players in their rosters. The players should be the same as they were at the time of registration.
- Rule 6.2.4. (Ringing)-It is forbidden to play under another player’s account or to solicit or induce someone else to play under another player’s account
Krafton has announced that a total of 41 teams have been disqualified as they were found breaching the code of conduct mentioned in the rulebook of BMOC 2022. Here is the list of the 41 disqualified teams-

Team banned for hacking
Apart from the 41 disqualified teams in the ongoing BGMI tournament, Team Panicless Official has been banned as they were found using illegal tools to manipulate the matches. Krafton is strictly against the use of hacks in BGMI and its other games, fans believe that with this move BMOC 2022 will turn out to be a free and fair tournament.
