BGMI: Krafton extends registrations for BMOC 2022, new date and time announced

In a latest development in the BGMI eSports scenario for the current season, Krafton has extended the registration dates for the upcoming open for all tournament, Battlegrounds Mobile Open Challenge (BMOC 2022). The officials of the battle-royale game have also announced the new registration ending date and time for all the players.
The popularity of Battlegrounds Mobile India is no doubt blooming in the gaming industry of India, thanks to the regular updates pushed by the developers as well as a thriving eSports field with different tournaments lined up for this year.

BGMI: Krafton extends registrations for BMOC 2022 tournament
The registration portal for Battlegrounds Mobile Open Challenge (BMOC 2022) were opened on March 14th. However, players reported of facing difficulties as the official website kept on crashing. Nevertheless, the registrations went on smoothly for a week and were about to end on 27th March for Indian players.
However, the officials announced on late Sunday that the date for BMOC 2022 registrations have been extended. As per the new date, players will be able to register for the BGMI tournament until today i.e. March 28th till 11:59 PM. This extension came as a relief for several players who wished to register for the competition but couldn’t do so.

At the same time, it is important to note that unlike the time of BGMI India Series 2021 where the registrations were extended for an indefinite period and the tournament dates were pushed back, BMOC 2022 tournament will run according to the formerly created schedule.
Format
- In-game qualifiers- April 4th-10th
- BMOC- 21 April-15th May
- BMPS- 19 May-12th June
As previously discussed, BMOC 2022 tournament will serve as the stepping stone for Battlegrounds Mobile Pro Series (BMPS) whose grand finals will be conducted with 24 teams naming the ultimate champion after almost a month of fierce competition. The prize pool for the tournaments have not been announced officially but it is known that the total prize pool for this year eSports has been kept at 6 Crore.

If players have not yet registered for the BGMI tournament, they should head over to the official website of BGMI eSports, fill in their details and proceed with the registration. It is important to note that only players with an account Level 25 or above and Platinum Tier V and above will be able to register for the tournament.
