One of the most popular BGMI team GodLike Esports has become a victim of controversies lately. While the initial debate was regarding their recently signed player ‘Shadow’, the organization is now getting trolled for copying the jersey of G2 Esports.
GodLike Esports is deemed as one of the most successful eSports organization that dominated the third party as well as major tournaments of Battlegrounds Mobile India that were hosted on the preliminary days of the game’s arrival.

BGMI team GodLike Esports’ owner speaks up on jersey debate
Led by Chetan “Kronten” Chandgude, the eSports organization has flourished in its BGMI, Free Fire as well as Call of Duty teams. Kronten started the team’s journey from 2020 and started competing in tournaments after partnering up with Nova Esports, forming Nova GodLike.
The team’s initial jersey consisted of a mixture of purple and golden color when later they shifted to a black jersey with a golden design printed on it. Even though their current jersey was revealed a long time ago, several people including international personalities have been trolling the BGMI team for copying the jersey from G2 Esports.
G2 Esports is an European eSports organization that fields rosters in Valorant, League of Legends, Rainbow Six Siege, CS:GO and other popular games. The organization revealed a new jersey during Worlds 2020 when their League of Legends team was competing in the tournament.
Fans are now claiming that GodLike Esports copied their jersey from G2 Esports. Their BGMI and other teams are getting brutally trolled after the ‘Shadow’ controversy for copying their current jersey. Speaking up on this matter, Kronten, the founder and owner of GodLike Esports stated-
“Yes, the jersey design was inspired from G2, but calling it a copy is not cool. We never sold those jerseys even though our fans requested us to sell them.”
Kronten further stated that the organization learns from mistakes and apparently, a new jersey is in the making. He also announced that the jersey will be showcased in their new bootcamp video which will be released within the next 7 days. The popular streamer has also expressed his gratitude towards the fans who have supported the team through thick and thins.
GodLike Esports is also taking a legal action against TSM for harming the privacy of their player ‘Shadow’, while TSM is also engaging in the same for poaching allegations. Amidst this, the BGMI team of GodLike Esports is ready to compete at BGMI Masters Series 2022.
