Neyoo accuses Team Soul and Global Esports of teaming up at BGMI Showdown 2022
Krafton recently concluded the BGMI Showdown 2022 where 7Sea Esports became the victors claiming a cash prize of 5 lakhs INR out of the total prize pool of 15 lakhs. The official LAN tournament saw the participation of 24 teams but only 16 were left for the Grand Finals.
While the BGMI community was happy over Krafton finally deciding to take the game’s eSports to a further level by conducting a LAN event, they also woke up to a new controversy. Soul Sid, the former manager of TSM Entity indirectly accused GodLike Esports and Team iNS to partner up against his team, which could have led to the downfall of their performance.
The accusation was made during a livestream of Sid on his YouTube channel few days ago. While GodLike Esports, one of the most popular BGMI team in the country kept mum for a few days, one of their players spoke up on this issue, posting screenshots of ‘ZGOD’ having an in-game chat along with another player.
This ‘unknown’ player revealed that Team Soul and Global Esports are planning to go against GodLike Esports to which ‘ZGOD’ replied ‘Aane de’ which is Hindi for ‘Let them come’. Neyoo also showed the date and time when this message was sent to one of team members, it was just before the finals of BGMI Showdown 2022.
GodLike Esports were not up to the mark with their performance at the BGMI LAN tournament as they came in the 14th position, Team Soul, on the other hand claimed the 7th position and are now heading to the PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2022. With two Indian teams taking part at the global tournament, we hope these prominent teams sort out the matter with mutual discussion.
